This Translation of the book originally published in 1975 as ,, Rythmusforschung und Technik´´ makes available for the first Time to the Englishspeaking world the core text oft he sculptor, engineer and mathematician Paul Schatz (1898-1979). It provides the basis for a detailed study oft he geometrical and mathematical foundations oft he completely novel approach to technology invented by Paul Schatz and specifically oft he revolutionary eversion technology whose various applications have been put to use wolrdwide since the 1960s. In fifty chapters Paul Schatz outlines in his characteristically unassuming and limpid manner the path form his unexpected and ground-breaking discovery of eversion on 29 November 1929 to the series production of various forms of oloid technology now in use around the globe. His discovery made possible a form of technolgy which does not enslave the human mind, but rather sets him free, because it is in harmony with the spiritual laws of natur and the universe. Schatz original text is supplemented by a collection of essays by contemporary authors engaged in the further research and development of eversion technology, as well as hitherto unpublished material form the estate of the estate oft he inventor of the evertible cube. They provide insights into the world o an explorer whose complex work still awaits the wider study and recognition it deserves. It is hoped that this first English edition will make a significant contribution to those aims.
